| If you feel limited by the singular motion of a smith machine but need the additional height accommodations that a squat rack cannot provide, then a power cage is your best option. The EF-7620 is a classic example of the benefits that great construction and attention to detail can produce. The clearly numbered four-post design features two adjustable collars on the front posts and another two on the rear posts. The front bar catches feature a second set of hooks on the back of the front post in addition to the two on the front for a total of six hooks on these collars. The collars latch into holes on the posts with large knobbed spring pins. These allow adjustments to be made even while wearing lifting gloves or by individuals that have problems grasping a smaller pop pin or a fitted pin. The safety spotters also feature front bar catches and adjust in the same pop pin style to provide an additional level of security should you miss the bar catches in reracking or simply workout to complete exhaustion. The EF-7620 also features removable side dip handles with finger-molded grips, the ability to expand by adding attachments such a lat attachment (EF-7621) and a ½” diameter front top cross bar that can be used as a pull-up station or paired with ab slings for a VKR station. In addition to the many extras the EF-7620 includes, safety and stability are of the upmost importance. The frame of the EF-7620 is a steel square design with a roomy but narrow footprint. This provides great stability and strength while also fitting perfectly against a wall either in a home gym or as a stand-alone cage in a den or recreational room. |
