| EF Products Mid Width Bench with Preacher
Model EF-4420 While Olympic benches are considered the norm to most individuals performing strength training routines, a mid width bench is often sufficient and even preferred for some users due to its low center of gravity and more compact nature. A great option in the mid-width category is the EF-4420. This combines the variety of exercises available on a flat and incline bench with all the additional benefits of an adjustable rack. It also includes an adjustable preacher pad and dual use leg developer with a standard size (1”) weight post. The reversible uprights in the rack feature four vertical positions as a press station as well as the ability to switch the uprights around for use as a short squat stand as well. The included safety hooks attach to the uprights for increased security. These crutches allow users to perform a variety of presses, lifts and squats on the EF-4420 with some of the safety of a spotter when assistance is not available. The 30.75” L x 8”-10.5” W backrest has three adjustments made with a solid bar in fitted slots on the uprights. The flat position has the backrest lying on the frame itself and the seat is bolted to the frame for maximum stability. The preacher pad adjusts to four vertical positions, which allows for great isolation of the biceps during curls. It can be removed as well to avoid hindering a free range of motion during other exercises on the EF-4420. Included with the preacher pad is a large, open and angled bar catch for quick racking of a curl bar before, during or after a set of bicep curls. Some of the exercises that will most likely be done without the preacher pad attached would involve the leg developer. It is not removable or adjustable but has contoured 4” roll pads spaced perfectly for most users to perform proper leg curls and leg extensions, which target the entire upper leg and backside region. Each of these features is connected to a sturdy 14-gauge frame. Any portions of the EF-4420 that require assembly are done so with large steel bolts and nuts for the most stable frame that is very unlikely to sway or rock. All T bar bases on the EF-4420 have rubber skid-proof end caps to resist sliding even during a quick workout as well as provide a secure base that is low to the ground for users of most heights to workout with stability and comfort.
